there is a quality to this print. like a rorschach. a bleeding into rather than onto the canvas that hosts it. i sense a parallel.
I had seen this first a few years ago and again from time to time, but only discovered last night that apparently it is a photograph….obviously this is hard to verify for sure without knowing full details or the persons involved etc, but to me it looks real. It also resembles the famous Hoffman portrait, which is widely believed to be very realistic, and also the Turin shroud image, though obviously under different circumstances.
